Before 2Fs Design was ever thought of there were two writers, Peppy and David, collaborating as (Pam) Flitt and (Ivor) Folio to coordinate variety events of spoken word, original songs and music, and whatever (or whoever) else happened through the door at their open mics. The My Family and Other Animals Flipbook* offers a brief introduction to Flitt and Folio’s performance poetry, and if you’re not averse to a bit of verse and have a hankering for wry humour the chances are there will be something right up your street. While mostly played for laughs you will find the occasional serious theme creeping in too, but variety, as they say, is the spice of life and comedy can be a serious business. The gallery images offer a small preview of the many delights on offer, but at just six quid including UK P&P why not go the whole hog and give yourself a treat? It would make a lovely stocking-filler too, and at just forty-eight pages with no sharp edges shouldn’t cause too many unsightly ladders.
